Southern Demolition and Environmental staffs qualified AHERA accredited inspectors to conduct asbestos surveys and testing prior to demolition or renovation activities.  

         

Our consultants conduct comprehensive asbestos surveys and inspections of your property to identify and collect samples of asbestos containing materials and determine their condition. 

Once the inspection is completed, the samples collected by the inspector are sent to an NVLAP (National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program) accredited laboratory.  

Survey reports (including lab results) are usually returned to the client within three to five business days. If necessary, turnaround times can be in as little as one hour.  Surveys and Inspections can start as low at $125.

Once lab results are available, if asbestos containing materials are found to be present, our services include abatement, removal and disposal of these materials, and/or consult with the owners regarding method and industry accepted practices for removal.  Our turnkey services include initial inspection, notification to the Environmental Protection Division (which requires a 10-day notification period, prior to the handling of regulated asbestos containing material), asbestos abatement, and air quality monitoring.
